Daughtry, led by lead vocalist Chris Daughtry, is a Grammy-nominated, melody-heavy rock band. Daughtry began his rise to stardom on the fifth season of the hit television show "American Idol." He became a quick fan favorite with his renditions of Fuel's "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" and Johnny Cash's "I Walk the Line." Although many people believed him as the clear frontrunner for the title, "American Idol" stunned the viewing public when Daughtry landed fourth that season. This ended up opening many doors for Daughtry as he embarked on his private career by forming his own band. He is now the most successful non-winner of "American Idol" in terms of record sales, and third most successful overall contestant behind season winners Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
Through their arena-tempered anthems, Daughtry has made their mark on the Billboard charts with singles "It's Not Over," "Home" and "Over You." Their self-titled first album debuted at #2 but quickly rose to #1 twice, giving Daughtry the certification of the fastest-selling debut album in SoundScan history. This album stayed on the Billboard 200 for 153 weeks landing the #1 slot on the Billboard 200 for 2007. Currently with their sophomore album, Leave This Town, Daughtry has seen the same success as they hit #1 on the Billboard 200 this past August with help from the single "No Surprise."
Lifehouse emerged in the fall of 2000 with a blend of a pop/rock melody and post-grunge vocals. No Name Face, their debut album, went double-platinum on the strength of their first single and most played radio track of 2001, "Hanging by a Moment." Lead singer Jason Wade paved the way for Lifehouse's third, self titled, album in early 2005 that featured their #5 Billboard hit "You and Me." Their fourth album, Who We Are, featured Billboard hits "First Time," "Whatever it Takes" and "Broken." They are joining Daughtry on this tour to promote their fifth album, Smoke and Mirrors, which will be released next month.
St. Louis-native quartet, Cavo - frontman Casey Walker, guitarist Chris Hobbs, drummer Chad La Roy, and bassist Brian Smith - combine for hard rock and alt-pop melodies. The group formed in March 2001with their debut album A Space to Fill. This album quickly caught on in the St. Louis metro with play on 105.7 KPNT-FM. Through that success, Cavo released The Painful Art of Letting Go in 2006, which led to shows alongside Staind and signing with Reprise Records. The band went back to the studio to record Bright Nights Dark Days, which was released this past year with the #8 Billboard Rock Song "Champagne."
