To ensure guest safety and a quicker entry into the venue, Chaifetz Arena has implemented a bag policy limiting the size and type allowed into the venue. Guests are encouraged to not bring bags. If guests wish to bring a bag, it must meet the criteria below.

Here is everything you need to know for a safer, more convenient experience at Chaifetz Arena.

Each guest, including children, will be able to carry one approved clear bag and one clutch.

  • Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12".
  • One-gallon clear plastic Ziploc-style bag. These bags are still subject to search.
  • Clutch bags that do not exceed 7.5" x 5.0" (approximately the size of a hand).
  • Diaper bags (with child) after inspection.
  • An exception will be made for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag, after proper inspection.

There are no provisions to check prohibited bags or items at Chaifetz Arena. Fans will be asked to either return prohibited items to parked vehicle or dispose of prohibited items at the gates. Chaifetz Arena is not responsible for items left behind, lost, stolen, or damaged.

For additional information about prohibited items, please visit the Prohibited Items list on our A-Z Guide.

Clear Bag FAQs

How does this make the experience more convenient for fans?

This will enable us to move fans through our security checkpoints much faster, allowing staff to be more efficient and effective in checking bags that are brought into Chaifetz Arena. There will be less time spent standing in lines at the arena entrances and fans will enjoy an improved sense of safety. Shorter lines means fewer hassles.

How many bags can each person bring into Chaifetz Arena?

One clear bag, 12" x 6" x 12" plus a small clutch. The larger clear bag must be no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" made of clear PVC vinyl and easily searched. The small clutch allows privacy for small personal items and is also easily searched.

Can fans carry cameras, binoculars, or smart phones separately from what they put in a clear bag?

Yes! Binoculars, phone, and cameras can be carried into Chaifetz Arena so long as it is not in its own bag. This is not a restriction on items that fans have been able to bring into the arena. It is only a restriction on the type of container used to carry items. Some shows may prohibit cameras.

What happens if I show up a the gate with a bag that is not permitted?

Fans carrying bags that do not meet the criteria will be turned away from Chaifetz Arena and sent to their vehicles to leave any impermissable bags.

If I have certain items that I need to bring into Chaifetz Arena for medical reasons and they won't fit in the clear bag, what do I do?

An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the entrances.

Are all purses prohibited?

No. Small clutch purses, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap, are permitted along with the 12" x 6" x 12" clear tote bag. This should enable you to carry the same items you have in previous years and speed entry into Chaifetz Arena for all fans because it will take less time to screen bags. We encourage fans not to bring any bags but have created a policy that balances fan needs with improved public safety and convenience.

What about diaper bags?

Diaper bags are allowed for families with infants and toddlers. Child must be present. These bags are subject to inspection.

Can I bring a seat cushion?

Yes! One-piece, foam seat cushions without pockets, zippers, or concealable areas are permitted. If you bring a seat cushion, prepare to have it inspected/patted down prior to entry.

Are there other security measures?

Yes. All other security measures will remain in place for further screening of all guests entering Chaifetz Arena including walk-through metal detectors.

Will Chaifetz Arena have a bag check?

No. There are no provisions to check prohibited bags or items at Chaifetz Arena. Fans will be asked to either return prohibited items to parked vehicle or dispose of prohibited items at the gates. Chaifetz Arena is not responsible for items left behind, lost, stolen, or damaged.
