The League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), the premier esports league in North America, is heading to St. Louis for the 2019 LCS Spring Finals on April 13. Chaifetz Arena will host the return of professional League of Legends competitions to the Midwest since the 2016 League of Legends World Championship stopped in Chicago.
“We’re excited to bring the LCS to new cities around North America. We can’t wait to head back to the Midwest and to welcome League of Legends fans to celebrate the conclusion of the Spring Split together,” said Chris “Chopper” Hopper, Head of Esports - North America at Riot Games. “It’s especially fun to bring our show to St. Louis, which has been such a welcoming community since the start of the company, and to be able to host Rioters from our St. Louis office and their friends and family at the event. ”
